Counting the Omer (Called “Sefirat Ha’Omer” in Hebrew: ספירת העומר) is a verbal counting of each of the forty-nine days between HaShem’s appointed festivals of Pesach [Passover] and Shavuot [Pentecost]. This mitzvah finds its origin in the Torah commandment to count forty-nine days beginning from the day on which the Omer, a sacrifice containing an omer-measure of barley, was offered in the Temple in Jerusalem, up until the day before an offering of wheat was brought to the Temple on Shavuot [Pentecost]. The Counting of the Omer begins on the second day of Passover (the 16th of Nisan) for Rabbinic Jews [same as the the Pharisees’ belief in the First Century], and after the weekly Shabbat during Passover for Karaite Jews [same as the the Sadducees’ belief in the First Century], and ends the day before the holiday of Shavuot, the ‘fiftieth day.
Say the Blessing each day:
Baruch Atah Adonai, Eloheynu, Melech Ha’Olam, asher kid’shanu b’mitzvotav v’tzivanu al S’firat Ha-omer.
Blessed are You, HaShem, our G-d, King of the Universe, Who has sanctified us with His commandments and has commanded us concerning the counting of the Omer.
Then one says (for the first six days): Today is ___ day[s] of the Omer.
After 6 days, one includes the weeks: Today is ___ days, which are ___ week[s] [and ___ day[s]], of the Omer.
May the Merciful One restore unto us the service of the Beit HaMikdash [Temple] to its place, speedily in our days; Amen, Selah.
From the book of Tehillim, also known as the book of Psalms, the 67th psalm is recited as a representation of the 49 DAYS count over 7 WEEKS to Shavu’ot [The Feast of Weeks], because it has exactly 49 WORDS, in 7 VERSES:
For the Choirmaster; a song with instrumental music; a Psalm. May G-d be gracious to us and bless us; may He make His countenance shine upon us forever; that Your way be known on earth, Your salvation among all nations. The nations will extol You, O G-d; all the nations will extol You. The nations will rejoice and sing for joy, for You will judge the peoples justly and guide the nations on earth forever. The peoples will extol You, O G-d; all the peoples will extol You, for the earth will have yielded its produce and G-d, our G-d, will bless us. G-d will bless us; and all, from the farthest corners of the earth, shall fear Him.
We implore you, by the great power of Your right hand, release the captive. Accept the prayer of Your people; strengthen us, purify us, Awesome One. Mighty One, we beseech You, guard as the apple of the eye those who seek Your Oneness. Bless them, cleanse them; bestow upon them forever Your merciful righteousness. Powerful, Holy One, in Your abounding goodness, guide Your congregation. Only and Exalted One, turn to Your people who are mindful of Your holiness. Accept our supplication and hear our cry, You who knows secret thoughts. Blessed be the name of the glory of His kingdom forever and ever.
Master of the universe, You have commanded us through Moses Your servant to count Sefirat Ha-Omer, in order to purify us from our evil and uncleanness. As You have written in Your Torah, “You shall count for yourselves from the day following the day of rest, from the day on which you bring the Omer as a wave-offering; [the counting] shall be for seven full weeks. Until the day following the seventh week shall you count fifty days,” so that the souls of Your people Israel may be cleansed from their defilement. Therefore, may it be Your Will, HaShem, our G-d and G-d of our fathers, that in the merit of the Sefirat Ha-Omer [Counting of the Omer] which I counted today, the blemish that I have caused in the sefirah [the emanation, or flow of HaShem’s Divine Essence & Character in my life] Chesed She’b’Chesed [Mercy that is revealed by Mercy] be rectified and I may be purified and sanctified with supernal holiness. May abundant bountiful blessings thereby be bestowed upon all the worlds. May it rectify our nefesh [soul: “soulish desires”], ruach [spirit] and neshamah [Divine Inspiration] from every baseness and defect, and may it purify and sanctify us with Your Divine Holiness. Amen, selah.
Day One: Chesed She’b’Chesed [Mercy that is revealed by Mercy] – Meditate on Moshe’s revelation of HaShem’s Divine Name and Presence that was revealed to him in Mount Sinai, before HaShem commanded him to cut two new tablets, for the “Brit Chadashah”, or Renewal of the Covenant that had been broken by Israel spiritually, and by Moshe physically [SH’MOT/Exodus 33:12-34:26].
Day Two: Gevurah She’b’Chesed [Might that is revealed by Mercy] Meditate on King David’s revelation of HaShem’s Divine Name, Presence and GEVURAH [MIGHT] in 1 Chronicles 29:11, To You, HaShem, is the greatness, and the might [GEVURAH], and the beauty [Tiferet], and the victory [Netzach], and the honour [Hod], because of all in the heavens and in the earth; to You, HaShem, is the kingdom [Malchut], and he who is exalted as Head over all.
Day Three: Tiferet She’b’Chesed [Beauty that is revealed by Mercy] Meditate on King David’s revelation of HaShem’s Divine Name, Presence and TIFERET [BEAUTY] in 1 Chronicles 29:11 & Psalm 96:6, where he declared that “Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty [TIFERET] are in His Sanctuary [Temple].

King Sh’lomo [Solomon] in Proverbs 10:25, promised that “When the whirlwind passes by, the wicked is no more….the righteous [still] have an everlasting FOUNDATION [YESOD]. Hebrews 11:8 says, “By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. 9 By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise; 10 for he waited for the city [Jerusalem] which has FOUNDATIONS, whose builder and maker is G-d”.

Let’s allow HaShem’s Eternal Attributes and Divine Sovereignty to establish His Kingdom on Earth, as it already is in Heaven!
