Day 37 of 40 Day Fast from Negative Thinking

Day 37

“Has HaShem’s Presence left me!”

Let’s reject the negative thought that says, “Has HaShem’s Presence left me!”

Today is the 37th Day of Counting the Omer [referring to the Barley Harvest], as a “Countdown to Shavuot [Pentecost -50th Day]”.  The 49-day “Counting of the Omer” from the Day of Firstfruits retraces our ancestors’ seven-week spiritual journey from the Exodus to Sinai.

THIRTY is Hebraically numbered by the:

12th HEBREW LETTER –LAMED ל #12 : It is used to represent the NUMBER 30 [SH’LOSHIM in Hebrew]: It comes the root LAMAD [to study and learn]. It is pictographically a “OX GOAD” [to prod the animal along; or a teaching rod] or “SHEPHERD’S STAFF”, that speaks of the AUTHORITY to TEACH or LEAD. This is the age of the PRIESTHOOD, and RABBINICAL AUTHORITY.

PLUS WE ADD THE 5th HEBREW LETTERZayin ז #7: Is used to represent the NUMBER 7 [SHIV’AH for masculine, and SHEVA for feminine in Hebrew]: It is pictographically a “SWORD” that is used to “cut covenant, or a “WEAPON” to defeat an enemy. SEVEN Hebraically speaks of PERFECTION or COMPLETION, like the REST of the SEVENTH DAY of the Sabbath [Shabbat].

Together the LAMED, an “Ox Goad” , or “Shepherd’s Staff: [from LAMAD: to learn] and ZAYIN [a “SWORD” that SEVERS, and makes the SEPARATION from 6 Days of Labor, and the 7th Day of REST; or “cuts a COVENANT”] speaks of the DIVINE REST that HaShem gives to those who are in COVENANT with Him, and submit to His AUTHORITY.

THREE PRINCIPLES FOR EXPERIENCING HASHEM’S PRESENCE:

Step 1 – LIVE & REST IN HASHEM’S PERFECT WILL & EXPERIENCE HIS DIVINE PRESENCE:

a. Exodus 33:14-15 He answered, “Set your mind at rest – my PRESENCE will go with you, after all.” Moshe replied, “If your PRESENCE doesn’t go with us, don’t make us go on from here.

b.  Living in the Divine Purposes of God is accomplished by the constant goal-setting of tenacious believers who crave the PRESENCE of God, yet are never satisfied with the knowledge they have already attained. Their spiritual craving for “Every Word that proceeds from the Mouth of God” causes an insatiable desire to know Him, and live in His Perfect Will allowing them to EXPERIENCE His DIVINE PRESENCE.

Step 2 – KNOW THAT HASHEM’S SHEKHINAH DWELLS OR ABIDES AMOUNG, WITHIN, AND UPON HIS PEOPLE:

a.  Exodus 25:8-9 And let them make Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell [SHAKHAN] among them. According to all that I show you, that is, the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furnishings, just so you shall make it.

b. SHEKHINAH is derived from the Hebrew verb שכן. In Biblical Hebrew the word means literally to settle, inhabit, or dwell, and is used frequently in the Hebrew Bible. (See Exodus 40:35, “Moses could not enter the Tent of Meeting, for the cloud rested [SHAKHAN] upon it, and the glory of the Lord filled the Tabernacle.” See also e.g. Genesis 9:27, 14:13, Psalms 37:3, Jeremiah 33:16), as well as the weekly Shabbat blessing recited in the Temple in Jerusalem (“May He who causes His name to dwell [SHAKHAN] in this House, cause to dwell among you love and brotherliness, peace and friendship”).

c. ORTHODOX JEWISH PRAYER FOR HASHEM’S PRESENCE:

Be pleased, Oh LORD our God, with your people Israel and with their prayers. Restore the DIVINE SERVICE [of WORSHIP] to the inner sanctuary of your TEMPLE, and receive in love and with favor both the fire-offerings of Israel and their prayers. May the WORSHIP of your people Israel always be acceptable to you. And let our eyes behold your RETURN in mercy to Zion. Blessed are you, Oh LORD, who RESTORES his DIVINE PRESENCE to Zion.

d. 2 Cor. 6:16 And what agreement does a TEMPLE of God [in Jerusalem] have with idols? For you are [metaphorically] “the temple of the living God“, as God has said, “I will dwell in them and walk among them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.”

Step 3 – ALLOW THE SHEKHINAH GLORY & PRESENCE OF AVINU [OUR FATHER] IN MESSIAH TO SHINE THROUGH YOU:

a. John 1:14 The Word became a human being and lived with us, and we saw his SHEKHINAH, the SHEKHINAH of the Father’s only Son, full of grace and truth. CJB

Same verse in NKJV: And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt [“tabernacled”] among us, (and we beheld His GLORY, the GLORY as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

b. The Greek Alphabet is borrowed from the Semitic Hebrew tongue [language]; just as SKEN’O’O [Greek] is obviously a borrowed word cognate from SHAKAN [Hebrew], meaning to “dwell, remain, abide or tabernacle”. This the “root” to the SHEKHINAH.

This reveals that the Messiah is not only anointed to be Our High Priest, but is also the Word of God, “tabernacling” among us, as an earthly manifestation of God’s “SHEKHINAH GLORY” and DIVINE PRESENCE in human flesh.

c.  2 Cor. 3:18; 4:6-7 But we all, with unveiled FACE, beholding as in a mirror the GLORY of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from GLORY to GLORY, just as by the Spirit of the Lord….For it is the God who commanded LIGHT [SHEKHINAH GLORY] to SHINE out of darkness, who has SHONE in our HEARTS to give the light of the knowledge of the GLORY of God in the FACE of [Yeshua the Messiah]. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.

Think It, Say It & Do It!:

I KNOW THAT WHEN I LIVE IN HASHEM’S PERFECT WILL, I EXPERIENCE HIS DIVINE PRESENCE or SHEKHINAH THAT DWELLS OR ABIDES AMOUNG, WITHIN, AND UPON ME! I WILL ALLOW THE SHEKHINAH GLORY & PRESENCE OF AVINU [OUR FATHER], IN MESSIAH, TO SHINE THROUGH ME, in Yeshua’s Name! Shalom Y’all!
